Third Thursday: THREE Third Thursdays are set for 2026, including Red White & Boots: Line Dancing on June 18th, Star Spangled Summer Splash Bash July 16th, and Red, White, Blue & Gold Back To School Kick Off August 20th. These FREE events bring together the community around the Marion square with several local businesses presenting products, activities and more for the whole family!
Rock The Plaza: after a couple of test runs in 2025, this has GROWN this year, with six months now slated for local bands/musicians to perform around the square! Expect food vendors and more – further details will shared as known!
Neighbor Spotlight: in late spring and summer, community members are invited as we showcase three different local businesses – what they offer, how they serve the community, and you can support them.
History Series: featuring local historian and author Jon Musgrave, community members are invited to Celebrations Event Center to learn more about southern Illinois’ rich and lively history. Food and drinks will be FREE courtesy of Walt’s Pizza and Legence Bank.
Fall Festival: think Third Thursday but BIGGER as the year starts winding down: live music, vendors galore, inflatables and more at the Williamson County Fairgrounds. Further details will be revealed as known!
